Every tea drinker should have tried the typical East Frisian tea ceremony at least once.
For this, first of all, you need a nice strong, strong tea blend. Our black tea East Frisian Broken BOP is ideally suited for this. The distinctive, stiff flavor of this tea blend from India and Sumatra tastes superbly dark and spicy on its own. But in combination with cubes of rock candy (called Kluntje) and a dash of cream (called Wulkje, which translates to "little cloud"), the result here is a varied taste experience that you will surely want to repeat more often.
And this is how it works: First pour the kluntje into the cup, then pour in the hot tea, and finally add a shot of cream. Very important - do not stir! This way you get a different taste with each sip, depending on which ingredient is predominant at the moment. Enjoy the taste!
Ingredients: black tea from India and Sumatra.
