Nuwara Eliya is the highest city on the island of Sri Lanka, as it is located in the middle of the three highest mountains. The name translates as "city above the clouds" or literally "city of light". Nuwara Eliya is located in the Kandy area, whose main tea estate is the so-called Loolecondera Tea Estate. It was there that the very first Ceylon tea was grown and sold in 1867. Not only because of this, but also because of the high altitude of over 1200 meters, tea from Nuwara Eliya is the highest quality Ceylon tea.
Ceylon Nuwara Eliya FOP is a full-bodied, round and at the same time fine tea, which looks like dark amber in the cup. For this tea only the fine buds, as well as the unbroken first young leaves of the tea plant are used.
Ingredients: black tea from Sri Lanka.
