Taste: full-bodied, aromatic, rounded
Preparation: 5-7 teaspoons (10-15g) per 1 L (34 fl oz) of water, temperature: 100 °C (212 °F), brewing time: 2-4 minutes.
Our Butterfly of Taiwan is an aromatic Oolong from Formosa (today's Taiwan), which impresses with its unique aroma and full-bodied taste. For preparation, we recommend our large tea glass with strainer and lid, as experience shows that oolong and green tea need a lot of space to unfold. Three teaspoons to half a litre is a good amount. This doesn't look like much in the glass at first, but as soon as you pour boiling water over the tea, the volume increases greatly, releasing both the delicious aroma and the beneficial ingredients.
Our recommendation: Let the first cup steep for a maximum of 2 minutes. You will already see how quickly the water takes on a pleasant colour when you pour it in. You can easily brew our Oolong tea 3-4 times, each time letting it steep a little longer than before.
Ingredients: oolong tea from Taiwan.
