Mate tea comes in several varieties. Depending on the culture, mate is enjoyed rather large crushed or very finely ground. It is also drunk either as green mate, as in this case, or as so-called "mate real". The difference lies in the processing.
Normally, a green tea is an unfermented tea. In the case of green mate, however, the opposite is true. The term Taragin describes a mate tea that has been fermented for several weeks, and at the end it is briefly heated to over 400°C to stop the fermentation. The result is our organic mate tea: an intense and powerful tea with a strong aroma. Our mate comes from controlled organic cultivation in Brazil.
Ingredients from controlled organic cultivation: herbal infusion from Brazil.
