Lapacho is a tree species in South America whose bark can be grated and infused hot. The resulting tea has a similar colouring to rooibos, tastes slightly earthy and develops a mildly spicy aroma with a fine vanilla note after a short time. The taste of pure Lapacho cannot be compared to any other tea. It is best to try it yourself to form your own opinion.
Because of its anti-inflammatory properties and the many minerals it contains, the indigenous people have always used the tea as a home remedy for fever and to strengthen the immune system. By the way, the production of Lapacho is very gentle on the trees. Only the inside of the top layer of bark is scraped off. The tree recovers very quickly without suffering any permanent damage.
Ingredients: spice infusion from Brazil.
