Fennel tea belongs in every good medicine cabinet. The tasty herbal tea is popular with young and old and also goes wonderfully as a drink with many dishes. Fennel is known for its antibacterial and expectorant effect and is therefore often used for colds, gastrointestinal problems, bloating and flatulence. The tea is also often sold as a baby tea to combat these unpleasant colics and flatulence. Fennel tea is also said to stimulate milk production in nursing mothers. The tea is therefore an absolute all-rounder.
A tip for a little variety: we have the three ingredients fennel, anise and caraway in stock as pure varieties. Just buy a packet of each variety and try mixing your favourite combination. Maybe you'll like the tea better with two spoonfuls of fennel and one spoonful each of anise and caraway?
