Did you know that sea buckthorn contains more vitamin C than a lemon?
In addition, sea buckthorn is packed to the brim with other essential vitamins and minerals and full of essential oils that are good for the body. No wonder it is used in many body care products. But sea buckthorn is also popular in the kitchen.
This delicious fruit infusion is full of sea buckthorn berries that have been blended up a bit with rosehip, papaya, pineapple, and apple to create a bold, fruity cup. The delicious aroma pours from them as soon as they are infused.
We also have a tip on how to capture the essential oils rather than letting them evaporate. To do this, simply cover the hot infusion with a lid for a few minutes. The vapors will condense on the lid and flow back into the jar, allowing you to drink the essential oils instead of letting them disperse around the room. We recommend our large tea glass with strainer and lid for this method.
