The Sikkim FTGFOP is a rarity from India. It comes from the Sikkim growing region, which is close to Darjeeling. The Temi tea estate is the only one that grows Sikkim tea. Our tea is the so-called second flush. This refers to the third tea harvest, which takes place from the beginning of June to the end of July. The letter sequence FTGFOP stands for the particularly high quality grade of the harvested leaves. Only carefully picked buds and tender young leaves were used to produce this tea. These can be recognized by the delicate white down, which is still present after fermentation.
Uncrushed and unbroken, they give the infusion a light and flowery taste.
Our recommendation: To draw out the high quality of this unique tea, steep the first infusion for under two minutes. An astonishingly light black tea awaits you, whose delicately floral aroma is unparalleled.
Ingredients: black tea from India.
