Kenya is the world's second largest black tea exporter, just behind India. The majority of Kenyan black teas are sold as small-ground tea in the crush tear-curl process, but especially in Germany the hand-picked, orthodox processed variety is particularly popular.
Our Kenya Broken GFBOP is a full-bodied, round tea with delicious malty notes. Compared to an Assam Broken, it is less acidic. If you like to enjoy your black tea with milk and sugar, you should take 5 teaspoons to a liter of boiling water for this variety and let it steep for 5-6 minutes. This will give you the necessary strength of flavor. If you like it pure, less tea and a shorter brewing time is sufficient.
Ingredients: black tea from Kenya.
