For many teas, the growing area and weather conditions, as well as the harvest time, play a major role in the ultimate taste. Darjeeling in India has particularly good conditions here, as the province lies over 2000 meters above sea level. Shortly after the main harvesting seasons, there are regular monsoons there, which ensure increased growth of the tea plants. For this reason, some very good teas are still sold from the region in the fall. These are called Autumnals, or autumn teas.
Our Darjeeling Autumnal TGFOP is usually harvested between October and November. It impresses with its soft and round character and its delicate aroma. The high leaf grade represents an excellent selection of the finest buds and leaves.
