Honeybush is a relative of the popular rooibos. Both varieties grow wild in South Africa. However, rooibos tends to grow in the steppes, while honeybush tends to thrive in the green mountainous areas of the country.

Honeybush and rooibos are naturally caffeine-free. The distinctive feature that gives honeybush its name is that when in full yellow bloom, the bush smells deliciously of honey. This aroma also carries over to the tea, which has a delicate, mild flavor with a lovely character. Pure honeybush tea tastes great both hot and iced. As an iced tea, it also mixes excellently with fruit juices. Have fun trying it out.
