Taste: light, tender, tart and fresh
Preparation: 4-5 teaspoons (10-15g) per 1 L (34 fl oz) of water, temperature: 70° C (158 °F), brewing time: 3-5 minutes.
Chun Mee is one of the most popular green teas from China. The tea is known for its slightly curved and rolled leaves that somewhat resemble raised eyebrows. The name Chun Mee literally translates to "precious eyebrow."
The value of these eyebrows is most evident in the taste. You can expect a light, delicate tea with a tart-fresh aroma that gently spreads through the body and replenishes your energy reserves.
By the way, the fresh-tart taste can be increased by simply using a little more tea (12-15g). However, please note that after boiling the water, let it cool down to about 70°C first, so as not to burn the delicate leaves.
